Started in May 2002 as a casual golf gathering
of family and friends to raise money in support of a family friend in need. Over the next two years it evolved
from merely a casual golf outing into a golf event to raise funds in support of our families’ shared goal of
helping others within our community. We have supported the Boys and Girls Club, several local Churches, several
local Educational Foundations, “Walk From Darkness”, and numerous individuals that just needed a little help.
Our name comes from combining our two family names; West from Westenhofer and Rash from Rash. |
WestRash Charities was founded with only one
goal in mind – Provide an additional source of funding to support
local agencies that promote the development of our children into
productive and useful members of our community and ultimately of
the nation and the world. |
In many ways our goal offers our WestRash
family with both a unique opportunity and a special opportunity
to concentrate our resources and act locally to help our
community while simultaneously achieving our goal of helping
our nation and the world become a better place for all of us to
live. |
